2020 Resolutions: Organization

The thought of beginning not only a new YEAR, but a new DECADE, is a bit daunting. ESPECIALLY when this new year/decade is one that will have my children count at 2, instead of 1, where it’s been for 2.5 years. The only way I know how to combat being overwhelmed at this fact, is to GET ORGANIZED.

With two kids under the age of 3, it’s no doubt that my house/life/car is a HOT mess. Between Frozen toys and pacifiers, there is always something to be dodged on the floor. In order to get this life pulled together as much as possible I’ve started with an organizational help book:

As mentioned above, there are two kids running around this house – along with two frazzled adults who work full time, so in order to manage a VERY busy toddler schedule full of gymnastics classes and dress up days at school it’s important to keep my days of the week straight. In order to do so, I NEED a good day planner. I love this beautiful leather-bound journal that has a place for a list, a space for notes and a weekly overview. Add a subtle debossed logo in the corner and you’ve got a gorgeous, low key promotional item that people will think was picked up at your locally owned bookstore.

With a busy work life and even busier kid/social life it’s important that we have all our bases covered when we leave the house. Snacks, CHECK. Diapers, CHECK. Change of clothes for everyone, CHECK. Instead of having said items strewn about the backseat of the car, or worse yet, dispersed between different bags, why not have ONE bag to rule them all?
